There is no major construction required. Upon arrival of your ‘Little Veggie Crate’ all you have to do is fill the crate by first laying it with straw, then topping it up with a good quality organic compost and presto!….you have an Instant No Dig Garden. Each crate comes lined with tough plastic to stop your ingredients seeping out.

What do you get Ready to Plant Crate Option?
Recycled, lined crate layered with organic growing material, including Peas Straw, Compost and Worm Poo. Planted out with seasonal Veggies and Herbs.
How to Set Up a Little Veggie Crate:
Step 1: Purchase your own fabulous recycled Little Veggie Crate

Step 2: Position and level the Little Veggie Crate in a sunny position at your home or place of work.

Step 3: Half fill the Little Veggie Crate with Pea Straw, lucerne hay or Straw (depends what you can get your hands on. Try your local grain store)

Step 4: Fill the rest of the Little Veggie Crate with good quality compost.

Step 5: Add some manure, either chook or cow, but make sure that it is well rotten and aged and then mix through.

Step 6: Also add some worm poo, it’s a great conductor of nutrients to your plants! (you can also get that from us).

Step 7: Now you’re ready to plant you VEGGIES!
