Manganese is important to healthy plant growth, as it is needed to form proteins.  A lack of manganese is more likely in alkaline soils and has the common symptom of blotchy yellowing between the veins of younger leaves and/or stunted growth. This 500g pack is water-soluble for easy/fast access by the plants.  

Do not make excessive applications to very acid soils as it may result in a toxic soil condition. Best to determine soil pH test before using.
